Job summary:
Responsible for client relations, servicing, and acting as the primary
liaison between clients, LSA operational staff and the LSA sales team.
Responsibilities also include supporting both operations and sales teams
in implementation and/or transition of new clients, monitoring and establishing
measurements and metrics for client satisfaction, handling and responding
to issues and complaints, measuring and creating Quality Assurance reports,
and communicating effectively with clients to identify ways to improve
and increase the depth and breadth of our relationships. Clients include
large and small entities across a variety of industries and government
services, including financial services, healthcare, legal, hospitality,
entertainment, technology, federal, state, and local government.
Reporting:
This position reports to the Executive Vice President and Director of
Sales.
Requirements:
- Develop a strategic plan and direction
- Ability to articulate well, speak precisely, think and write clearly
- Multitask and work well under pressure in a time-constrained environment;
able to efficiently and effectively resolve problems
as they arise on projects
- Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and customer service skills
- Good judgment, extreme discretion and flexibility in work hours
- A willingness to travel to meet with clients, vendors as required
- Interact with named key clients on a regular basis to establish and
maintain relationships and stay current with respect to client needs
and
industry knowledge
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education
and experience.

Knowledge of computer/network systems infrastructure requirements/standards, computer/networking systems planning and knowledge of Cisco Routers and Firewalls required.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Providing telephone and in-person support to Windows 2000 and XP and MAC users.
- Identifying, analyzing, and repairing product/system failures.
- Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading software and hardware.
- Ensuring proper functioning of the organization's network information systems.
- Maintaining system security via firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Recommending standards for computer and network systems.
- Establishing information technology policies and procedures.
- Developing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Maintaining hardware and software inventory.
- Training employees.
- Performing other related duties/special projects as assigned.
- Maintaining a broad knowledge of current and emerging systems technologies.
We are a 24/7 Operation--candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including late nights and weekends and possible holidays. Responsibilities:
- Determine project scope with client
- Prepare estimate of costs for client
- Contract to appropriate translation resources and other vendors (DTP, etc.)
- Perform quality assurance reviews
- Some translation and editing in native language
- Some light DTP (Quark, PageMaker, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Prepare final product for delivery in client-specified format
- Prepare billing for accounting
Ideal candidate will possess:
- Translation industry experience
- A translation degree
- A keen eye for detail
- Facility with managing a diverse range of clients
- Multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to inter-cultural issues
- Exceptional on-the-spot problem-solving skills

Preference will be given to those with:
- Professional translation and project management experience
